The score I have used circa 1750 does not specify a tempo for this music. There is also some question as to whether it is separate from the movement marked Loure which immediately precedes it. I have designated the tempo as Allegretto and guessed at the speed based on the exuberance of the notation. Likewise I have used my discretion when separating the Loure from this movement. There is not a clear demarcation between them indicated on the score.
The slow stately tempo of a Loure seems to me in stark contrast to the character of this movement.
